Cancellation Policies

For all programs cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to [email protected]
  1. Cancellations by SCH:

  • If SCH cancels a program due to lack of staffing, instructor illness, scheduling conflicts, etc, we will make every effort to provide a make-up option. If you are unable to attend the make-up, or we are unable to offer a make-up class, you will receive a refund equivalent to the missed session.

  • *If SCH must cancel a program due to inclement weather, smoke, neighborhood-wide power outages, or other environmental safety concerns outside of our control, we will not offer a credit or refund for the cancelled sessions.

* SCH strives to provide reliable and safe programming for our community. We also prioritize the safety and livelihood of our staff. This policy allows us to continue to pay our staff a liveable wage even during unforeseen circumstances.  If this policy poses a significant financial hardship for your family, please email [email protected] to request an exception.
