Description

Dancers will develop their musicality, embody rhythm and grooves, gain foundational  technique, build confidence in freestyling, and learn the history and importance of Hip-Hop dance. 

 

*Please wear something comfortable that you can move in. Shoes must have clean soles to protect the dance floor (can clean upon arrival if needed, or bring a separate pair if possible).


 

The Laurelhurst Studio is located in Laurelhurst Park, between the tennis courts and the playground, near the intersection of SE Cesar Chavez Blvd and SE Stark Street. Street parking is available in the neighborhood. 

 

8-week session: Friday October 16-Friday December 11 (no class Thanksgiving week)

Restrictions

Participants must be 7 years and 11 months to 12 years old when the program starts.
