Our three-day option is ideal for families who need a regular school routine, but do not necessarily need all 5 days.
Our day will consist of lots of open play, outdoor time, and a daily enrichment rotation. During the enrichment rotation, each class will visit another classroom for a specials class, such as music, art, science or tinkering.
Monthly
Our mixed age morning preschool program is designed to serve children ages 3–4 in a nurturing, play-based environment at Sellwood Schoolhouse. Rooted in child-led learning, the program supports early literacy and numeracy while fostering cooperation, empathy, creativity, and a positive sense of self.
Each class serves up to 10 children with a 1:10 teacher-to-child ratio. Children engage in exploratory play, hands-on art projects, imaginative experiences, outdoor play, and open-ended materials that encourage curiosity and discovery.
Families may choose the schedule that best fits their needs:
Monday–Friday
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Tuesday & Thursday
There is no age restriction tied to any schedule option, other than being 3-4 yrs.
Upon enrollment, each child is assigned a homeroom teacher based on the selected schedule. Families may indicate a teacher preference, and while placement cannot be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate requests.

Participants must be 2 years and 11 months to 5 years and 5 months old when the program starts.
Registration starts on 01/26/2026 and ends on 06/04/2027.
Participants may register at any time during this period.
