Afternoon Playgroup is a play-based afternoon preschool program in the heart of Sellwood. Our program is a play-based school, influenced by Montessori and Reggio-Emilia models. We are proud of our amazing and well trained staff, beautiful classroom environments and our community-minded atmosphere. This program is mixed-age, encouraging peer cooperation and learning. Our daily schedule is flexible and follow the child's natural rhythm, making space for teacher and child directed learning. During afternoon playgroup your child will have opportunities for dramatic play, rest time, process art, story time, gross motor movement, and so much more.

We have two part week options and a M-F option for afternoon playgroup. You can pick the option that works best for your family's lifestyle--there is no age restriction.
